Strike King Hack Attack Select Head Banger ToadBuzz 3/8 oz – Chartreuse | Topwater Bass Lure

Strike King Hack Attack Select Head Banger ToadBuzz 3/8 oz – Chartreuse | Topwater Bass Lure

A little buzz. A little bang. A whole lot of topwater attitude!

When a regular buzzbait just isn't making enough racket, it's time to bring out the Head Banger!

Designed with legendary bass angler Greg Hackney, the Strike King Hack Attack Select Head Banger ToadBuzz combines a soft plastic toad with a buzzbait head for a noisy, surface-churning presentation built to get a bass's attention.

Here's where things get interesting: the buzz blade features a hole that allows the weighted head to knock against the blade as the lure travels across the surface. That head-banging action adds an extra layer of sound and commotion to an already lively topwater presentation.

Dressed in eye-catching Chartreuse, this 3/8 oz bait is ready to stir up some trouble.

And because even the best toads occasionally have a rough day, Strike King includes an extra soft plastic toad body in the package!

How to Fish It

🐟 Cast and Buzz: Cast toward likely bass-holding areas and begin retrieving to bring the bait across the surface.
🐟 Keep That Head Banging: Maintain a steady retrieve that keeps the buzz blade spinning and the head knocking against it.
🐟 Work the Edges: Try fishing around grass lines, lily pad edges, shallow cover, and pockets where bass may be waiting to ambush prey.
🐟 Change Your Speed: Experiment with different retrieve speeds to find the surface action the fish respond to.
🐟 Early and Late: Give it a try during morning and evening topwater feeding periods, when bass may be more willing to chase a noisy surface presentation.

Rogue's Tip

When a bass blows up on your ToadBuzz, resist the urge to yank the rod the instant you see the splash. Wait until you feel the fish load the rod before setting the hook.

And if that bass misses? Keep your retrieve going. Sometimes the second strike is the one that counts.

Fair warning: This bait makes enough commotion to wake up the neighbors. Fortunately, the neighbors are bass, and they don't file noise complaints.
