Urchin Shack™ is where The Outdoor Shack™ keeps the spiky stuff: full-size TPE urchin lures built around a round central body and a mess of soft, radiating tentacles that move with very little help from the angler.
They look different because they are different — curated for anglers willing to try something the fish haven't already seen 400 times.
We carry sizes from minis to as big as you can imagine — 6mm Mini Urchin Bombs™ on one end, full-size bruisers on the other. Whatever the fish are pretending not to notice today, we've got a size for that.

The Hatfields & The McCoys
Most of our urchins are Hatfields — pure TPE, the originals. But every now and then we snag a deal on non-TPE urchins that's too good to pass up — and when we save, you save. Those are the McCoys.
One rule on this feud, and it's a real one: keep the McCoys stored separate from the Hatfields. TPE and regular plastics don't get along — store them together and they'll react and ruin each other. We don't want to see any violence around here — or in your tackle box either.

Why TPE Matters
Stretchy stuff. Serious little bait. Our urchins are made of TPE — a better investment and a longer-lasting lure than ordinary soft plastics. Those thin tentacles keep moving with very little angler input, so the bait keeps doing something even when you aren't shaking the daylights out of it.
Every Urchin Shack lure is approved for both freshwater and saltwater — because the fish don't care which one you're standing next to, and neither do we.
⚠️ Important: TPE must never be stored with regular plastics or plastisol baits. The chemical reaction between the materials will ruin your urchins. Keep them in their own tube or a separate compartment — that's how you protect the investment.
