Results naturally vary with forage, season, water clarity, temperature, presentation, and whether the fish woke up cooperative or chose violence.

How to Fish It

🐟 Keep it light. These Minis are made for finesse presentations where subtle movement matters more than making a grand entrance.

🐟 Try them around brush piles, docks, submerged timber, weed edges, bridge pilings, and other areas holding crappie and panfish.

🐟 Their soft radiating tentacles can provide movement with very little rod action, so don't feel like you have to shake the daylights out of them.

🐟 Change colors when water clarity or light changes, or when the fish suddenly decide the color they loved ten minutes ago is now completely unacceptable.

🐟 If fish are following but not committing, slow the presentation and let those tentacles do some of the work.

Outdoor Shack™ tip: When one 6mm Urchin looks suspiciously tiny in your hand, remember that crappie aren't known for carrying measuring tapes.
