25mm Urchin Sand Gold Flake Floating TPE Soft Bait 

This 25mm Urchin in Sand with Gold Flake combines a translucent natural-looking body with plenty of golden shimmer. Its rounded center and long, flexible tentacles create movement from nearly every direction, giving fish a profile that is hard to inspect without getting a little too close.

Made from floating TPE, this soft bait can stand up and keep its tentacles moving when used with the right rig. Small shakes, current, or subtle rod movement make the appendages pulse and wave while the gold flake catches available light.

The Sand color works well when you want something natural and understated—but apparently nobody told the gold flake about the “understated” part.

The 25mm measurement refers to the rounded center body, not the full tentacle spread.

Each purchase includes one individual lure. Hook, weight, or jig head are not included.

These urchins have been difficult to keep in stock because they move quickly, so get ’em fast before this batch swims off to somebody else’s tackle box.

Results depend on local forage, season, water clarity, conditions, presentation, and whether the fish have decided to cooperate that day.

How to Fish It

🐟 Drop-shot it to keep the floating body elevated while the tentacles hover, wave, and quiver above the bottom.

🐟 Try it on a free rig, light Texas rig, or compatible jig head for a slow fall and lively stand-up presentation.

🐟 Work it around rock, sand transitions, docks, brush, grass edges, shell beds, and other areas where fish are feeding close to the bottom.

🐟 The translucent Sand body offers a natural appearance in clear to lightly stained water, while the gold flake adds flash in sunlight or changing water conditions.

🐟 Use short shakes followed by longer pauses. This bait can keep moving while sitting nearly still—which is more productivity than some of us manage before the second cup of coffee.

🐟 When fish follow but do not commit, reduce the weight, slow the presentation, and give those tentacles more time to do the sweet-talking.
